2016 Gala Fundraising Event

MVWC Gala Fundraising Event 2016

gala_invitationPraise God for another record-breaking Gala!  Over 600 guests joined us for another memorable Gala! 72 became new ministry partners!  Through the faithful and generous giving of many, so far, over $340,000 has been raised! Our goal was $300,000!

Keynote speaker, Scott Klusendorf, equipped guests to communicate their pro-life convictions to a secular culture and challenged guests to “love their unborn neighbor” by partnering with the MVWC as a volunteer, a financial partner, and an advocate for the ministry in their church and community.  A link to view the Gala will be available shortly. With your partnership, we will continue to “tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord and his might, and the wonders that he has done…that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn.” Psalm 78:4-6 (ESV)

Thank you to all who helped make this year’s Gala a success!

Scott Klusendorf, President of Life Training Institute, trains pro-life advocates to persuasively defend their views in the public square.  He has appeared on nationally syndicated Christian programs such as Dr. James Dobson’s Focus on the Family, The Albert Mohler Radio Program, and Lee Strobel’s Faith Under Fire, among many others.  Nationally, he has debated opponents like Nadine Strossen, President of the ACLU, and Kathy Kneer, President of Planned Parenthood of California.

Chuck Colson, founder of Prison Fellowship, said: “Scott first grabbed my attention when Focus on the Family featured one of his presentations on its national broadcast. I was struck by his ability to communicate truth so clearly and insightfully. I’ve heard many speakers who deliver excellent content, but few who can actually equip people to communicate their pro-life convictions to a secular culture. In fact, I was so impressed with Scott’s talk that I phoned him directly to learn more about his work. After that, I scheduled him as a keynote speaker for our own Breakpoint conference.”
